Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
After conducting a public meeting in Purulia, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee continued her regional tour by walking to Bankura, where she engaged in prayers at a local temple. Following the Purulia meeting, Mamata landed at the temporary helipad of Bankura Stadium and proceeded to the Circuit House, where she is scheduled to spend the night.
The Chief Minister received a warm welcome from a multitude of people and Trinamool workers lining the road, with women presenting greetings in the form of soup, Kanyashree, and Lakshmi Bhandar. Notably, Mamata participated in the festive atmosphere by playing Dhak and witnessing a dance organized in her honor.
